1. Who we are and acceptance

Cassandra Astro (also “Cassandra App”, “we”, “us”) operates from Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico. These Terms apply to the Cassandra app for Android, the website cassandra-astro.com and related services (the “Service”).

By using the Service or paying for a reading you agree to these Terms and our Privacy notice. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. What Cassandra is

We calculate astrological charts with the Swiss Ephemeris from the date, time and place you give us, and generate their interpretation with artificial intelligence following astrological logic.

• Transparency: interpretation texts are generated by an artificial intelligence model. They may contain errors, inaccuracies or inconsistencies.
• Purpose: the Service is for entertainment, education and self-reflection. Astrology is symbolic and does not predict facts.
• No professional advice: nothing in the Service is medical, psychological, financial, legal or any other professional advice. Do not make important decisions (about health, money, work or relationships) based only on a reading.

3. Your input and accuracy

Charts depend on the data you enter. If the date, time or place is wrong, the reading will be too. Without a birth time, the ascendant and houses cannot be calculated precisely and some sections are not available. We are not responsible for results based on incorrect data.

4. Age and other people’s data

• You must be at least 18 (or the age of majority in your country) to use or purchase from the Service.
• If you enter another person’s data (for example, in a synastry), you confirm you have their permission. If the person is a minor, you confirm you are their parent or legal guardian.
• You are responsible for third-party data you enter and agree to hold us harmless from any claim arising from entering it without authorization.

5. Access to your readings

• App: you use an account (with Google, Apple or email). Keep your credentials safe. You can delete your account from your profile in the app.
• Website: no account is needed. Each reading has a private link and is tied to your browser. If you give us your email, we send you a link to open it on any device.
• Anyone who has a reading’s link (including the one in your email, or one you share from the app) can view it. Share it only with people you choose.
• If you lose access to a paid reading on the website, write to us from the email you used to pay and we will help you recover it.

6. Free readings and fair use

On the website you can generate readings and see a free preview; the rest unlocks when you pay. To prevent abuse we limit the number of free readings per day and per device or network, and we may block automated or fraudulent use.

7. Website purchases

• Each full reading (birth chart, synastry, transits or solar return) is a one-time payment. It is not a subscription and does not renew.
• Prices are set in US dollars (USD). At checkout, Stripe may show them converted to your local currency; the final price and currency are shown before you confirm.
• Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card details.
• Your purchase includes the full reading on the site, the PDF download and, if you ask, the PDF sent to your email. Content is delivered immediately once payment is confirmed.
• We keep your paid readings for as long as the Service is available. We recommend downloading your PDF. If we ever stop offering the website, we will give reasonable notice so you can download them.

8. In-app purchases and subscriptions

• The app offers one-time purchases and auto-renewing subscriptions, charged to your Google Play account when you confirm the purchase.
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage and cancel them in your Google Play account; we cannot cancel them for you.
• We may change prices; changes apply to new purchases or renewals under Google Play’s rules.

9. Refunds

• Website: if you had a technical problem we cannot fix (for example, a duplicate charge, or a reading that was not generated or is incomplete), we will refund you. Write to us within 30 days of the purchase.
• By paying, you request immediate delivery of the reading. Because it is digital content, once delivered there are no refunds for change of mind and, where the law allows, the right of withdrawal does not apply.
• App: refunds are handled by Google Play under its policies.
• If a payment is reversed or disputed (chargeback), we may lock the related reading again.

Nothing in this section limits the rights you have under applicable consumer protection laws.

10. Permitted use and intellectual property

The software, calculation engine, prompts, designs, brand and generated texts belong to Cassandra Astro or its licensors. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use your readings and your PDF, including sharing them with people close to you for non-commercial purposes.

• You may not resell or commercially exploit readings without our written permission.
• You may not copy, decompile or reverse engineer the Service, or extract content automatically (scraping).
• You may not use the content to train artificial intelligence models.
• You may not try to bypass payment, locked content or usage limits.

11. Availability and changes to the Service

We may improve, change or suspend features, and the Service may be interrupted for maintenance or third-party failures. We will make reasonable efforts to keep it available, but we do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free.

12. Limitation of liability

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for decisions you make based on a reading.

Our total liability for any claim related to the Service is limited to what you paid for the purchase that gave rise to it. This does not exclude liability that cannot be excluded by law.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. We will publish the new version with its date and, if the change is material, announce it on the site or in the app. Purchases already made are governed by the Terms in effect when you paid.

14. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Mexican States. Any dispute will be submitted to the competent courts of Guadalajara, Jalisco.

If you are a consumer in Mexico, you may also go to the Federal Consumer Protection Agency (PROFECO). If you live in another country, you keep the mandatory rights granted by the law of your country of residence.
